Apologize to us

How true your words are
and what about that big brass bell
Do you remember how heavy
that brass ball was
and if you did not ring it right
around your head it came
and how it would knock you out

At bed time was the worse
as we were lined up one by one
and some of us taken to another room
and I was tied hand and foot to a bed
while another nun buttoned her habit
around her waist
as another nun held me down
while the third nun stood alone
because to her we had to kneel
then bow our heads to her
as we said sorry
for the wrong of which
we did not know we had done

Now these nuns of Nazareth House
apologized to us
and then they said
that there was no wrong doing
on the part of the nun
so to me they still
have not told the truth
and one day they will face
the wrath of God's word
because of what they did
to his innocent children
around the world.
